Sustainability

Committed to Sustainability

Sustainability is central to our purpose at KTC to champion ‘good’ food and is embedded in our supply chain principles and innovation led culture.

Alongside our suppliers, partners and customers our aim is to make a significant impact environmentally, economically and socially, from better sourcing to improving livelihoods. We are committed to doing the best for people and the planet.

Sustainability Highlights

We have prioritised the business on three key impact areas: environmental, economic and social. There is still plenty to do, however, here is a flavour of our progress &
achievements so far.

Through our primary partners, we source from farms that aim to grow responsibly, encourage regenerative farming practices, protect soil, plant trees and decarbonise the planet.

2
Our KTC packaging is 100% recyclable, and our PET bottles are made from 30% recycled material. We are currently working on increasing this further.

3
We are actively reducing our Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions across KTC operations and supply chain and considering actions for our baseline Scope 3 report.

4
We prioritise logistics suppliers dedicated to maritime net zero by 2050 and road transport net zero by 2035, aiming to be significantly ahead of the Paris Agreement and UK targets.

Our new products are always ethically sourced, packed in recyclable/part recycled materials and we only use palm oil certified by the RSPO, who commit to protect fragile ecosystems, natural habitats and biodiversity.
